  • Electric Scooters: Most electric scooters for adults have a top speed ranging from 15 to 25 miles per hour (24 to 40 kilometers per hour). Some high-performance models may reach speeds of up to 30 mph (48 kph) or more, while lower-powered scooters designed for children typically have lower top speeds, around 10 to 15 mph (16 to 24 kph).
  • Electric Bicycles (E-Bikes): The speed of electric bicycles is often capped by regulations in many countries. In the United States, for example, most electric bicycles are limited to a top speed of 20 mph (32 kph) when using motor assistance. However, some models may offer higher speeds, reaching up to 28 mph (45 kph) or more, particularly for class 3 e-bikes.
  • Hoverboards: Standard hoverboards typically have a maximum speed of around 6 to 10 miles per hour (10 to 16 kilometers per hour). However, some high-performance hoverboards may reach speeds of up to 12 mph (19 kph) or slightly more.
